NuFuels LLC is a sustainable energy project developer that has worked tirelessly to bring to market proven commercially deployable technologies designed to cleanly produce renewable “green” hydrogen. Having accomplished the evaluation and testing phases, deployment of NuFuels’ first commercial facility is at hand.
The first step to financeable renewable projects was researching and finding the best technology and engineering partners. NuFuels has selected the most efficient biomass / to-syngas-to-hydrogen gasification conversion technology … a technology that converts virtually any organic feedstock (biomass) into Syngas.
The gasification conversion is accomplished with a combustion-free process. This allows the conversion to occur without combusting the feedstock thus making the process much safer and essentially pollution-free. Moreover, our production process qualifies as carbon neutral; virtually all of our system outputs are environmentally friendly (green hydrogen and high-grade biochar). It’s worth noting that the pure carbon biochar co-product is remediated into the soil as a proven enhancement to soil quality and water savings.
NuFuels utilizes a single design that converts 40 tons of biomass per day (TPD). These ‘cloneable’ plants will be built at or near the feedstock source to reduce the cost in both dollars and carbon transport. Each plant can be scaled in 40 TPD increments. The system components are standard regardless of plant size, so economies of scale are easily achieved.
NuFuels has strategically partnered with Black & Veatch (BV), one of the world's most well-known engineering/technology companies with broad experience in traditional fuel refineries as well as the successful design and construction of some of the country’s newest hydrogen filling stations. BV will provide EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) services in the design and construction of NuFuels green hydrogen plants.
NuFuels is currently in negotiations for the construction of plants in California. The insurer/underwriter for all NuFuels plants will be Aon, a world leader in commercial insurance. Also, NuFuels has partnered with Carriere Family Farms and other established biomass facilitators to provide feedstock procurement for each NuFuels facility.
NuFuels is firmly committed to a dynamically sustainable business model with emphasis on fair market practices, transparency, and respect for our customers/partners. Finally, NuFuels will strive to make our neighbors and the environment our most satisfied partners.
